To design is to decide how a thing looks and how a thing functions. To address one without the other is a job only half done. When I design, I not only consider the visual elements but also how the piece will fit into the world, how the end user will interact with it. Is it clear? Is it useful? Is it beautiful?

I enjoy making things beautiful. But I love making things function.
